Why I Built RosterPass
I founded RosterPass because of a gap in the market. What's available is either expensive enough that the cost lands on families as a steeper pay-to-play barrier, or it's ad-supported and thin on features. Either way, it's hard to use.
Youth sports needs a platform that is fully featured and affordable — one that lets coaches and admins focus on running their teams instead of building and maintaining a website, communicating across three different apps, and working around buggy, ad-riddled software.
I'm a coach, a parent, and a club founder. I looked at what I could buy, found it lacking, and built RosterPass instead.
What We Do
RosterPass is a multi-tenant platform purpose-built for youth sports organizations. Each club gets its own branded portal with roster management, team scheduling, dues collection via Stripe, registration workflows, team communication, document e-signing, attendance tracking, a club website builder, roster exports, and Champ — an assistant that handles the routine work when you ask it to. The portal works in any phone or tablet browser, so parents and coaches can stay connected from anywhere.
Privacy First
Youth sports involves sensitive data — children's information, parent contact details, and medical forms. We take this seriously. RosterPass enforces row-level security at the database level, requires parental consent for players under 13 (COPPA compliant), and gives every club full control over who can see what. Player privacy is not an afterthought — it's built into the architecture.
Built for Real Clubs
We're not a generic project management tool with a sports skin. Every feature is designed for the specific workflows of youth sports: interest-based registration with approval flows, season-aware documents, multi-child family support, and role-based access that matches how clubs actually operate (admins, coaches, managers, parents, players).
